One Ok Rock Live at House Of Blues Boston 10.01.2022
Rock band ‘One Ok Rock’ traveled all the way from Japan to kick off their North American “Luxury Disease” tour starting September 19th and running through to October 20th. I was fortunate enough to be able to catch the high energy rock band while they were accompanied by You Me At Six (United Kingdom) and Fame On Fire (Florida) on October 1st at House Of Blues Boston.
I’ve been a fan of One Ok Rock since their 2013 album titled “Jinsei Kakete Boku Wa” but until now haven’t had the pleasure of seeing them perform live. As a long time fan I was hoping to hear some songs I was familiar with all though I knew the band was touring to promote their new album “Luxury Disease” and they did not disappoint. The set list for this tour has a great mix of some older songs as well as some incredible choices from the new release that even if you weren’t familiar with One Ok Rock would have you dancing and wanting to hear more.
On top of a fantastic set list One Ok Rock brings it visually as well. Their stage presence is out of this world and as a musician myself I know it’s no easy feat to jump and move around while nailing every single note. With the light show, high energy stage presence and incredible set list One Ok Rock is definitely a band to see live. The Luxury Disease tour is sold out but if you ever get the opportunity get tickets early and make sure you don’t miss them!
